If you are unhappy with your natural lips, they can be altered as permanent makeup is artistically applied to enhance your best look. An uneven line can be straightened and defined then blended into the lip for a more natural look. Small thin lips can appear fuller, and pale lips can have a soft color if a more bold look is not desirable. But if it is, I can do that too. Any lip enhancement may help keep lipstick from bleeding and lessen the appearance of wrinkles.

Pre-Care

If you have a history of cold sores, L-Lysine (vitamin section) is recommended. 1,000 mg twice daily  for one week before your procedure.  If you a prescription cold sores or fever blisters , begin taking it at least 2 - 3 days prior.

You should not take products containing ibuprofen at least 24 hours before your procedure.

Healing

A lip procedure will take the longest to heal. The color after the procedure will appear more intense for about 4 or 5 days. It will then slough off and fade to no color for about one week. Then as the healing progresses the color will begin to reappear. You will not know how much color remains until the end of the healing period. The lips may appear blotchy with patches of color and, depending on the intensity of the color you desire, a touch-up may be required.

I like to wait for 5 or 6 weeks for touch-ups on any lip procedure.
